This promotion constitutes the first part of the Unit Standardisation Exercise, where cadets are evaluated based on their proficiency in the specified drills and campcraft components, weekly attendance, soft skills and conduct between January 2011 and June Training Camp. The second part of the Unit Standardisation Exercise will be from the June Camp to the Unit Specialist Training Camp in December. We hope that the newly promoted cadets will continue their good work and strive for even better performance. For cadets who have not been promoted this time round, do not be discouraged. Improve on your areas of weakness, do not be afraid to approach your peers or any of the officers for help and work towards the end-of-year evaluation.
